2024 Honor Students IN the ASLEI Program

Headshot of Avery Kovacs
Avery Kovacs

Avery is a committed student. She entered the ASLEI program with little knowledge of the Deaf community or the language of ASL, and over her academic years in the program, Avery has demonstrated great composure and professionalism. She is dedicated to her studies and seeks out opportunities to develop her knowledge and skill set outside of the classroom.

Headshot of Gwen Lee
Gwen Lee

Gwen is a stellar student who has consistently received notable feedback about her quality work, high degree of reflective practice, and outstanding disposition. She is known for going above and beyond on her assignments, not just for the grade, but for knowing that the skills and knowledge she has established now will help her be more competent in the workplace. Gwen is also an OSEP scholar completing coursework in the Preparing School Interpreters program.
