Charles Kuehn obtained his Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Michigan State University in 2011. After a one-year postdoc at Michigan State, Kuehn spent three years as postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Sydney before coming to UNC. He has conducted research and authored papers on pulsating stars, chemical abundances in stars and nebulae, dwarf galaxies and active galactic nuclei.
