School of Human Sciences
College of Natural and Health Sciences
Welcome to North Hall!
My name is Sue Gould, your faculty in residence and an assistant professor in the Nutrition and Dietetics Program. I have been at UNC since Fall 2010 and a faculty in residence since Spring 2013. My husband, Mike, and I live on the first floor and invite you to stop by and say “Hello,” especially when we are out on the front patio. I am a resource for academics and, as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I can answer questions and/or recommend resources for living healthfully. I collaborate with UNC’s Student Nutrition and Dietetics Association to plan and deliver food demonstrations during the academic year. I also work with the Resident Assistants (RAs) and Diversity Mentor to provide other programs. My faculty office is in Gunter Hall, Room 2420.
Born and raised in Colorado, I completed my undergraduate work at Montana State University in Physical Education and Health, K-12, and earned graduate degrees from Colorado State University in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Before settling in Northern Colorado, Mike and I lived in upstate New York, Key West, FL, Glenville, CA, Boston, MA, and Silverthorne, CO. We enjoy the outdoors, snow sports, hiking, biking, and climbing. You probably will see us walking around campus; please join us, if you like.
I look forward to meeting you and facilitating your time at UNC.
