Student meal plans offer convenience and flexibility. They're perfect for grabbing a quick coffee, picking up a snack between classes, or enjoying a full meal in the middle of your busy schedule.
No matter what your day looks like, we have dining options for you.
The DINING PORTAL is currently open for Fall. Students can log in to purchase a meal plan and/or Dining Dollars at any time. Fall 2025 meal plans are valid Wednesday, August 20 - Friday, December 12.
There are a variety of dining locations across campus for you to sit down and eat with your friends or grab a bite on the go when you're in a rush.
Using Your Meal Swipes:
It's easy to make healthy choices at Holmes Dining Hall, our "all your care to eat"
dining room located on West Campus. They offer various entrées and side dishes daily,
along with a great salad bar and sweet treats to make the meal complete. Hot to-go
options are available using your Bear On The Run container.
Tobey-Kendel Dining (located on Central Campus) was recently renovated, and it looks a little different now. You're still able to use your meal swipes there, but the format has changed. Instead of the "dining room" setup like at Holmes, you can choose your "meal bundle" from one of several available food stations. Their hours are also a little different.
Using Your Dining Dollars:
Tobey-Kendel Dining doesn't just have food stations. You can find the Just Baked hot
vending machine inside TK's lobby. Choose one of your favorites, and the machine warms
it up for you! TK also has a mini-market area upstairs where you can get house-made
sandwiches, salads, and wraps -- along with convenience items like chips, candy, and
drinks. It's a convenient option available 24/7. As long as you're a registered student,
you have access to the building after hours!
There are many convenient retail dining options across campus where you can use your Dining Dollars. Stop by the University Center and grab a bagel and shmear at Einstein Bros® Bagels, a sub sandwich at Subway®, some snacks at Munchy Mart™, or fresh-made sushi at Hissho Sushi. Our newest locations in the UC include Bowlful, Empire State Pizza, Crisol Latin Kitchen, and Burger & Co.
Bears Coffee Shop is located in Michener Library if you're needing some caffeine while you're studying. Starbucks® is located in Holmes Hall, so stop by and grab your favorite beverage and snack. Don't forget you can use your Dining Dollars at our mobile food carts, the vending machines across campus, and at the Concessions stands at most of our sporting events!
Another great feature of your meal plan is the ability to use up to 5 of your meal swipes (per week) as a Meal Exchange at select retail locations: Bowlful, Crisol Latin Kitchen, Empire State Pizza, and Burger & Co. You can always see how many Meal Exchanges you have left for the week by logging into the Dining Portal. You can see all of your meal balances there!
