Teacher of the Year

To recognize world language teachers and their teaching accomplishments, the University of Northern Colorado Departments of World Languages and Cultures, Hispanic Studies, and ASL & Interpreting Studies honor professional excellence among teachers of world languages in secondary schools.

One award is given for outstanding teaching in each of French, German, Spanish, and a less commonly taught language (i.e. Japanese, Latin, ALS, etc.).  In addition to an award plaque, a monetary prize of $100.00 will be presented to each recipient.  Awards are presented at the UNC World Language Day teacher luncheon in Greeley.  Further information can be found on the Nomination Form.
