UNC Campus Tours

A campus tour is one of the best ways to experience a university's atmosphere and find out whether it's right for you. UNC offers many ways to tour campus, depending on what you want to get out of your visit.

Academic Program Visits

Academic program tours allow guests the opportunity to connect with the academic program they are interested in. During the experience, students meet with faculty or advisors from specific programs of study, tour program facilities (if applicable), hear from an admission counselor and enjoy a campus tour.

Daily Tours

Daily campus tours allow guests to experience campus life at UNC with a half-hour information session and a 90-minute student-led campus tour.

The tour highlights academic spaces, two residence halls, Campus Recreation, the James A. Michener Library and the University Center. With advance notice, guests can also request appointments with academic departments, financial aid, and Honors programs.

Group Tours

Group tours are primarily for high school and community college students. Groups of 10 or more can experience UNC's campus with an information session and campus tour that fits the group's specific needs.

Group tours allow students and their peers to travel to campus and experience what it means to be a UNC Bear together.

Game Day Tours

Game Day tours allow guests to experience campus life at UNC with a half-hour information session, 90-minute student-led campus tour, a discounted dining experience, and free tickets to an athletic event.
