Colorado Springs, Colorado
I am currently a double major in Psychology and Philosophy. As a first generation student, UNC helped me with the transition from high school to college and provided many opportunities for me. Upon my first couple years at UNC, I got involved in leadership organizations and studies. I participated in Lead-On, took an intro to Leadership Studies course, became a founder of ASLC (Ambassadors of Student Leadership Club) and lead in student ministries with the Navigators. In the future, I hope to conduct research in the Humanities Department at UNC. Then, I'd like to continue onto graduate school and become the first women in my family to receive a Ph.D.
1. I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 9.
2. I went to Costa Rica two years ago and went on one of the world's longest zip-lines!
3. I can play five instruments and eat a whole pizza (but not at the same time)!
