Events and Visits for Admitted Students
Welcome to UNC, and congratulations on your acceptance!
The next steps are up to you, and we understand, picking the right school isn’t easy. Following in our 130-year tradition of service, let us meet you at eye-level to help you decide.
We’ve got plenty of options to pick from, including coffee chats, Destination UNC days and more. We’re also rolling out the red carpet for two ways for you to get in touch with fellow Bears and your Bear community: Black Excellence and Exito Latinx.
Take a look at the options below and pick what best fits your needs (or your style). We’re so happy to see you, whether it’s on campus, online, or even exploring the town of Greeley itself.
Destination UNC is our most popular event for admitted students.
We want to make UNC the right choice for you. Let us help guide your journey to Bear Country.
During this all-day event, you'll get to socialize with your peers and talk to people who can answer any questions about your program. Lunch is on us, so there's no reason not to come.
The next Destination UNC events are on:
- Friday, March 27, 2020 - CANCELED
- Friday, April 17, 2020 - CANCELED
Colorado High School Visits(we'll come to you)
Due to ongoing concerns with COVID-19, all prospective student visits for the Spring 2020 semester have been canceled.
In this smaller event learn how Black students are supported and Black culture is celebrated at UNC. The next Black Excellence Event is canceled due to concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
Can't make any of these events?
Get one-on-one attention
Due to ongoing concerns and preventative measures regarding COVID-19, all in-person appointments are being canceled and we are going virtual!
We encourage you to setup an appointment with an admission counselor to talk through questions, next steps, and any other UNC-related things on your mind. We will be offering one-on-one appointments via phone on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We will offer virtual, web-based appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
You can also chat on the phone with a current student about what it is like to be a UNC Bear, housing options, getting involved, academics and more.
