SUMMARY:Career Conversations
DESCRIPTION:Career conversations is usually referred to as “speed networking” with alumni. It is many of our students’ first experience networking\, and the goal is to encourage students to get more comfortable in a networking setting. Our students sit in small groups with one alumni and discuss career-related topics and the alumni’s own experience transitioning from college to their careers. Topics include things such as “Starting Strong in a New Role”; “Gaining Valuable Experience in College”; “Networking 101” etc. After a short time (around 15-minutes) our students switch and meet with a different alumni about a different topic.
