Why I want to be a part of Student Senate:A senator can change an entire student or groups' perspective on the world and inspire someone or something to become amazing. In this position, I am given the opportunity to change my surroundings for the better. Whether that be environmental issues, or issues surrounding equity. I want to be apart of Student Senate because it is the best way for me to make actionable change about all the academic issues, and affairs that happen here at UNC. I am passionate about many issues revolving around environmentalism, diversity, equity, equality and inclusion.

Qualities/Experiences:Within this past year I have been able to connect with faculty and staff, and establish a voice on campus. I have connections across campus, as well as, a place in many important groups across campus. In senate, I have been able to propose multiple legislations and create the environmentalism group that helps senate become greener every day! Along with that, I have experience from my education and years as a waitress with working with people. My strength and resilience to fight for what we, as a student body, believe in is my greatest strength.

2022-2023 Goals

If I am elected, I will continue working on expanding the cultural centers based on their needs. We will continue town halls to ensure students voices are heard in all manners that are accessible. I will ensure both undergraduates and graduate students feel seen, and heard. Finally, my main goal is to be able to listen and adapt to the ever-changing needs of our UNC population.
