Arapahoe Basin
The 67-year-old legend offers some of the highest skiable terrain in North America. Half of the mountain is above timberline with open bowl skiing and snowboarding through spring and into early summer. One of its signature runs, Pallavicini, is one of Colorado's longest and steepest trails.

Copper Mountain
There is plenty to do at Copper Mountain in addition to the world class skiing and snowboarding. Arapahoe National Forest
Located in Dillion, CO (north central Colorad). Arapahoe National Forest is a protected parkland featuring multiple designated wilderness areas & the largest natural lake in CO. The forests and grassland encompasses 1.5 million acres and extends north to the Wyoming border, south of Interstate 70 to Mount Evans, west across the Continental Divide to the Williams Fork area and includes short grass prairie east of I-25. There are seven peaks over 13,000 feet high Hiking and climbing. Elevations range from 8,300 to just over 13,500 feet. Indian Peaks is one of the most visited Wilderness areas in the United States. Great for hiking, fishing and camping. In the winter, snowshoeing and cross country skiing are popular.

Biking
There are approximately 85 miles of in-town bike lanes—and that's just a small part of our entire Greeley bikeway system! The City of Greeley has made great strides in the past few years in providing more on-street bike lanes and routes that connect popular destinations—government buildings, UNC, downtown, parks and trail connections, and they are in the process of developing a Bicycle Master Plan which aims to improve bicycling in Greeley. Year-round possibilities for sport, trad, or alpine ascents are not out of the question and a close look at weather patterns yield superb climbing booty. Colorado sports 53 official peaks at 14,000 feet or more, and well over 300 13ers to “peak” your interest. First ascents are still waiting in the pristine backcountry that makes this state so wild. With 8000 miles of rivers and more than 2000 lakes, Colorado has some of the best, and most abundant, fishing you'll find anywhere. Rocky Mtn National Park is only an hour away and Roosevelt National Forest is less than an hour away.
