Fatima Silvestre, has worked in the field of mental health for 13 years. She decided to change her career and was in the first group to participate in the Deaf to Road Interpreting (RDI) in 2008. She received her CDI in 2009 and after a few years of legal training received her CLIP-R in 2015. She is currently a full-time Legal Interpreter for the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She also maintains a freelance practice in New England in her free time. Fatima holds a BA in Human Services from Springfield College and has many years of experience as an ASL mentor.
