 Ellen Roth,  Was born and raised in New York City with my deaf family. Went Lexington School f/t Deaf and graduated from regular high school. Gallaudet University for my A.A. degree and B.F.A. from NYU in Communications and Fine Arts Photography. Masters at NYU. During my tenure in NYC I worked intensively as an ASL Master/Translator with ASL Interpreters for Shakespeare Plays & Broadway shows. RID RSC in 1981, then CDI 2003 & CLIP-R. ASLTA 2000-2005. Taught Interpreting since 1980, at first with NY Institute for Interpreters, Gallaudet University DOIT, Columbia College ITP in Chicago, and Northern Virginia Community College ITP. Now, at Gallaudet GIS/DOIT & Project CLIMB. Here is what I do for fun: skiing, great foods & wines, movies, books and conversations.  I love French toy poodles.
