Biography

Ryan Mueksch joined the University of Northern Colorado staff in February 2021. Serving as the Senior Communications Strategist for Executive Communications, Ryan manages all internal and external communication from the President’s Office, working closely with President Feinstein on the development of his messages, speeches, and public remarks.  

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013, where he studied Broadcasting and Advertising/Public Relations. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Management from Doane University in 2020. 

Prior to working at UNC, Ryan was the Senior Communications Manager at Doane University, managing media relations and public relations efforts. He served as the primary writer for Doane news and magazine stories, worked closely with the President on developing his communication, and was the university’s spokesperson. Before Ryan worked in higher education, he was an on-air sports reporter/anchor in Lincoln, Nebraska.
