Cornerstone

UNC has acquired a learning management system as a part of its integration with Cornerstone. The system will house all workshops (virtual & live) being offered through Human Resources as well as many offered through DEI, CETL, and other communities across campus. The system is new (June 2022) - more courses will be added throughout the fall. Check back to stay up-to-date on the latest offerings.

LinkedIn Learning

UNC faculty, staff, GA/TA, and student employees now have access to LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda). LinkedIn Learning replaced Skillsoft, but don't be disappointed. LinkedIn Learning's online catalog contains thousands of virtual courses across a wide-range of topics. UNC employees can access LinkedIn Learning content through Cornerstone.

Campus Training for Faculty

The Center for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) and our Instructional Design and Development (IDD) teams have guides, workshops, and tutorials to help faculty navigate the world of education at UNC.

Employee Tuition Grants

Permanent employees paid through Human Resources are eligible to enroll without tuition charges, on a space available basis, to take courses at UNC, CSU, or Aims Community College. Tuition paid is based on in-state tuition amounts. Out-of-state tuition charges are the responsibility of the employee. Allotted credit hours are based on the number of FTE the employee is assigned. For more information, check out the Tuition Grant FAQs handout. You can also check out the HR Benefit's Page to find the forms needed, or contact human.resources@unco.edu for more information.
