Ceremony Formally Introduces UNC’s 13th President
April 12, 2019 — A traditional ceremony April 12 officially welcomed Andy Feinstein as the 13th president of the 130-year-old institution.During the Presidential Investiture, Feinstein spoke in the new performance hall at the Campus Commons. The 600-member audience included UNC trustees, former UNC presidents, presidents and former presidents of colleges and universities across the country, and local and state officials.
UNC Spring Commencement Ceremonies, May 3-4
April 11, 2019 — The University of Northern Colorado will hold the 129th spring commencement ceremonies Friday, May 3, at Bank of Colorado Arena in Butler-Hancock Athletic Center, and Saturday, May 4, at Nottingham Field, with about 1,600 expected graduates.
UNC Updates Tree Tours with New Additions, Markers
April 2, 2019 — New additions of tree species are being added to the self-guided campus tree tours at UNC. The updates include newly planted trees around the Campus Commons as well as European Larch trees planted in the Carter Hall north lawn.

March 21, 2019 — UNC welcomed Angie Paccione, executive director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, for a campus visit Wednesday. She joined President Andy Feinstein on a tour and met students, faculty and staff at cultural centers and in academic areas.

March 15, 2019 — The Colorado State Board of Education recently reauthorized all UNC’s educator preparation programs, with conditions for reading instruction that UNC is already addressing.

March 11, 2019 — University of Northern Colorado trustees officially welcomed their newest board member and elected officers in addition to granting department-approved tenure for UNC’s incoming provost at the board’s regularly scheduled meeting Friday, March 8.

UNC Makes Huge Strides in Reducing Energy Consumption and Costs
