September 18, 2018 — That was the message from University of Northern Colorado President Andy Feinstein during his first annual State of the University address Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the University Center. Feinstein, on his 80th day on the job, spoke to a capacity crowd in the ballrooms and wrapped up his remarks by quoting the Horace Mann Gate on 10th Avenue, a gift from the Class of 1910, that's contains the inscription: "Rowing, not drifting."
