Specializes in classical singing, voice teaching and performing art songs of African-American composers. Sings opera and classical art song literature throughout the United States. Teaches voice and foreign language diction, primarily at the university level but also vocal master classes for middle and high school students. Performed opera and art songs for 17 years in Europe before joining the music faculty at the University of Northern Colorado. Performs vocal recitals and conducts vocal workshops and master classes at elementary, junior high and high schools in Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas. On the faculty of the Beverly Hills International Summer Music Festival in Los Angels, CA. High school and college students learn vocal technique and are coached on chamber music repertoire.
