Thanksgiving Holiday Housing & Dining Updates

Due to continuous increases in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and positivity rates, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDHPE) announced that Weld County will be moved to the Level Red: Severe Risk category on the state’s dial system effective 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.

Residence halls and Dining Services will remain open for students who are planning to stay on campus, though there will be no in-person dining at any on-campus location.

Residents Staying On Campus

Even though campus will be quiet, we’re still planning lots of virtual activities for students staying in residence halls, from social media competitions and games, to take-and-do activities
students can pick up at their front desks.

Dining Details

During operating hours at Holmes Dining Hall Gourmet to Go and Grab and Go options are available including a special Thanksgiving meal available Wednesday. Students are encouraged to bring their green reusable container that can be purchased for $5 at Holmes to help reduce plastic waste. UNC's Dining Services will continue meal delivery to students who are in on-campus quarantine/isolation rooms.
