Deon is a Junior majoring in Software Engineering. He hopes to receive a job in Software Development upon his graduation in May 2025. During his Sophomore year, Deon began his journey with Housing and Residential Education as a Resident Assistant. In Spring 2024, Deon continued his journey as the Programming Assistant Neighborhood Coordinator for the Basin Neighborhood. Deon is also a part of the Marcus Garvey Cultural Center as a Cultural Activities Coordinator. Outside of his work and class, Deon is The President of the Black Students Union and continues to advocate for Black students on campus. Deon enjoys Star Wars, Anime, watching movies, and spending time with friends outside of his on-campus responsibilities.
