The Music Library has two copier/scanners for public use. Scans are sent to the email address of the user's choice, and scanning is free of charge. Printing costs for paper copies are:
Patrons are encouraged to request staff assistance in using the copier/scanners as needed. However, staff may not make copies/scans for patrons except in extreme circumstances (e.g. patron disability) and then only in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
Patrons requesting information on the legality of reproducing items under copyright are referred to the "Fair Use" statement posted above the copier/scanners, and should address further questions to the Music Librarian.
Contact staff in the event of copier malfunction. Refunds are issued by Information Management and Technology; you can request a refund by submitting a ticket at https://help.unco.edu. Patron errors are not subject to reimbursement.
Only work-related copying can be made at library expense, and all staff copying must comply with applicable copyright laws.
While in the Music Library, patrons may not make copies of Music Library recordings.
Music Library staff will circulate recital recordings on extended loan terms to performers on the recitals, or their legally authorized representatives, if they desire copies for their private use.
