In January it’s time to sign-up for on-campus housing for next academic year, don’t miss out!
For those students currently living on campus (Residence Hall,Arlington Park Apartments, University-owned houses) Call Dibs is the opportunity to select where you would like to live for the 2019-20 academic year! The best part is, you get to choose your space before we assign our new incoming students.
Because you already live with us, you know all the perks: ease of getting to classes, close to the dining halls, Campus Rec Center, the library, and more, free laundry, secured-access buildings, friendly support staff, first-hand knowledge of campus events, meeting life-long friends, continued academic success and so much more!
How does it work you ask?
If you love where you are living now and would like your same space for next year then mark your calendar for January 16 & 17 for Claim Your Same Space! You will go Ursa, complete the Call Dibs on Your Same Space for Academic Year 2019-20 Returning Student housing contract. Once you have completed the contract, simply follow the steps for Select Your Same Space process. It’s that easy!!! You won’t even need to put down a deposit, we will simply keep your current deposit on file. If your current space is in one of our Residential Learning Communities, not to worry. Watch your Bear Mail for special instructions on how to select a new space.
If you are looking to try something new, then mark your calendar for January 24 & 25 for Claim a Different Space! You will go through the same process but by filling out the Call Dibs for a Different Space for Academic Year 2019-20 Returning Student housing contract followed by selecting a space. You will be able to search by West or Central campus or search a specific hall. Once you find a room simply select it. It’s that easy!
Maybe you are interested in the Arlington Park Apartments or one of the University-owned houses? The Arlington Park contract will open on January 3rd. Or are you ready to live in a house? Next academic year we will be providing more University-owned houses to reside in on 10th Ave south of the UC, all with the conveniences of close proximity to campus and you know the Landlord, that’s right UNC! To complete a contract for University-owned houses please sign-up on January 3rd.
Be sure to attend the Call Dibs kick-off dinner in the Dining Halls on Wednesday, January 16! There will be great food, prizes and the chance to ask any questions you may have.
