Hi! My name is Elaina Rollins and I am from Houston, Texas. I am a sophomore at UNC currently studying Business Marketing. From my last semester I was a Business Management major, but I realized I wanted to focus more on marketing.
One of the biggest lessons I took into this year from my last would be to always trust yourself. You might think that’s a loaded statement and what does that mean? Well, it means whatever you feel or think you want to do, do it! Never rethink the decisions and back out of them because you're scared or unsure. Life is about making mistakes and learning from them. It’s important to believe in yourself and the decisions you decide to make because at the end of the day they’re what’s right for you, no one else.
Overall, how I was able to get here was by utilizing myself and coming to terms with who I am. In college you have plenty of time and space to grow and find out who you are so I would say take that time to love yourself and understand yourself.
