Operation Cheesecake in collaboration with the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the César Chávez Cultural Center, will be producing Lin Manuel-Miranda’s Tony-Winning Musical, In the Heights. This is a show that reminds the importance of chasing dreams and discovering where we belong.
This show features a unique mix of hip-hop, rap, jazz, pop, salsa, and merengue music that leads us through the story of an intersectional Latinx community which has aspirations of achieving the American dream while still holding onto their rich culture and heritage.
The show is free however donations are being accepted for the UNC DACA and Dreamer Scholarship. Donations are accepted at the door or through the event registration. Read here to learn more about DACA and Dreamer Students.
