UNC Community Online Art Support Show

April 28, 2020

Our Community in Times of Coronavirus

UNC's School of Art and Design, in partnership with the Division of Student Affairs and University Libraries Archives & Special Collections are collaborating to provide another way of showing our community coming together during a time of a pandemic with an online art show. This is not a juried or curated online exhibition. It’s free and open for everyone to participate. It’s a community coming together virtually.

You don't have to be an artist to submit to the show. We will be collecting digital art, paintings, photos, poems, sculptures, videos, etc. to be displayed in our online gallery. Participants will be able to submit their images and have the options to provide their work to be part of UNC’s permanent collection for “Coronavirus at UNC: Archive Your Story.”

It’s a way to show our community’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic by providing a platform to share your arts, performances, and/or thoughts, and keep you connected with our community of Bears.

All submitted artwork will be digitized and made available for viewing on the UNC Galleries website beginning on May 15, 2020 and continue to be updated throughout the summer.

All community members are welcome to participate!

You don’t have to be an artist or a writer. We want our community to show the ways in which we are all dealing with the coronavirus.
