Asian Pacific American Student Services (A/PASS) invites you to join us on Saturday, April 11th to acknowledge and celebrate the academic milestones of our Asian and Pacific Islander students. With the cancellation of many public events, including the annual lū’au, and commencement ceremonies, the members of the A/PASS sought to collaborate with reggae artists, Paka Davis, and The City Boys, to recognize our students and their accomplishments through live performances on the Instagram pages.
Paka Davis is a singer/songwriter who moved from Hawaii to Texas. Paka travels across Texas performing his own songs and cover songs of famous reggae artists that have inspired him.
The City Boys
The City Boys are a reggae Band currently residing on Oahu. The City Boys are composed of six band members who all grew up together in Honolulu, Hawai’i sharing a love for reggae and culture-based music which continues to this day.
On behalf of A/PASS, we would like to thank Paka and the City Boys for sharing their passion for music and culture.
