Last year, Reisher Scholars, a program that awards scholarships to Colorado students based upon financial need and academic merit had a 95% graduation rate, 75% graduated with minimal additional educational debt, and 80% completed their degree within the funding period!

DSA Weekly Tidbit Part 1: Center for Peer Education and Project M.E.
In 2021, the Center for Peer Education staff presented “A Toolkit for Promoting Menstrual Equity in Higher Education” at the American College Health Association’s Annual Conference. Project M.E. (menstrual equity) accomplished converting 90% of all pre-existing coin operated menstrual product dispensers to “free of charge” systems.

César Chávez Cultural Center 35th Anniversary: Interview with Eric Rennaker. On September 3, 2020 the César Chávez Cultural Center celebrated its 35th Anniversary. “A Legacy of Paying it Forward” is the theme and the starting point for asking past directors of the Center, how they've "paid it forward" through the years during and after their time at UNC.
