IM&T is excited to announce that over the next 24 months we will be working with campus to migrate department network drives and legacy SharePoint sites to the new SharePoint Online Infrastructure.

SharePoint Online is the new file storage solution for UNC Departments to easily save and store shared documents.  It allows for simple access, advanced collaboration, self service permission management, large amounts of storage space, and cloud backup protection.

This will be a very hands on process that will require IM&T to work closely with each college and department to migrate files and move legacy SharePoint sites.  For more information and FAQ’s please visit the UNC IM&T website - SharePoint Online page.
