Research/Areas of Interest

Sports in 20th Century America; Rise of American Conservatism; Role of Religion in Modern Politics. Currently working on a project on the long-distance running boom of the 1970s and the ways in which the discourse on running reflected and shaped the larger socio-cultural developments of that era.
