Homecoming is an exciting time to return to UNC's campus and reconnect with friends and classmates or explore our surrounding community. The Alumni Association hosts class reunions and partners with offices across campus to host events throughout the weekend. Return to campus to walk down memory lane, see how UNC and Greeley have changed, and take in a game as the Bears host Portland State. 

Lunch with University Leadership

Friday, October 18

Celebrate everything great about being a Bear with fellow alumni as well as university insiders. Join the Alumni Association for lunch on Friday, October 18 to connect with new Provost Mark Anderson and Vice President for Advancement Allie Steg Haskett '03, and hear firsthand about UNC's future plans.

A reunion is better with more friends, and you know your classmates better than anyone else. Reach out to any classmates you're still in contact with and coordinate your return to campus.

Class of 1969 Reunion

October 18-19

It’s been 50 years since the Class of 1969 graduated from Colorado State College, and we want to welcome you back to campus to celebrate. Dine with university leadership, tour campus, get inducted into the 50-Year Society and receive your membership pin, and cheer for the football team from box seats.

The current Student Senate invites all former student leaders to join their tailgate in the student area starting at 10 a.m. before the football game. 

Student Ambassadors

Saturday, October 19

Calling all former student ambassadors! While you're back in town for the football game, Alumna Lyndsey Crum '05 invites you to gather with your fellow ambassadors too. Head to the Original Roma for Homecoming breakfast and meet up at Crabtree Brewing Company after the football game.

Sugar Bears 

October 18-19

 Join the current Sugar Bears team on Friday night to learn the dance for the Fight Song. Then join the team for breakfast Saturday morning before watching the game and joining the team on the field to perform.

'80s Delta Zeta 

October 18-20

Alumna Teddi Hernandez '91 is coordinating a reunion for Delta Zetas from the 80s. Stayed tuned for information from Teddi.

Student Nutrition and Dietetics Association


Saturday, October 19

Fill a truck with supplies to help drive out hunger on UNC's campus. The UNC Student Nutrition and Dietetics Association has partnered with the Bear Pantry for the 1st Annual Great Big Food Drive taking place before and during the Homecoming football game. Drop off items and monetary donations in the Bears Fan Fest area.


Saturday, October 19

Join UNC Campus Recreation as they kick off Homecoming Game Day with the Annual UNC Homecoming 5K Fun Run & Walk. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and the race is at 9 a.m. The registration fee is $20 and can be made with cash, check or credit card.


Greeley Multicultural Festival


Saturday, October 19

The Greeley Multicultural Festival will be on campus during Homecoming weekend. Attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate the diverse cultures embedded in the fabric of the Greeley community with all 5 senses.
