Rod Esch

Rod is a graduate of UNC.  He received his B.S. in Accounting in 1981.

Prior to joining the Foundation in 2013, Rod held positions as a certified public account, a financial officer, and executive leadership and advisory roles in the financial services sector.

Rod leads the Foundation.  He is responsible to the Foundation’s Board of Directors for the overall management of the Foundation’s activities including gift acceptance, providing support to the University according to donor purpose, and investment management. He oversees the overall gift acceptance practices of the Foundation and directly supports the University by developing gift agreements and the associated gift restrictions.  He collaborates with University colleagues to ensure that the strategies and practices of the Foundation align with the priorities of the University.

More about Rod:

Though I have worked and played many places in the country and around the world, I am happy to say that I have lived in Colorado most of my life. I enjoy spending time with family and I enjoy my work.
