SUMMARY:Fall 2026 K-12 Educator Employment Fair
DESCRIPTION:UNC Center for Career Readiness is hosting a Fall 2026 K-12 Educator Employment Day on Thursday\, November 12\, 2026\, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the University Center Ballrooms. \nAdmission is FREE for UNC students and alumni\, as well as current CSU and CU Boulder students. Attendees need to register\, preferably prior to the day\, but registration will also be available at the door. \nApproximately 40-50 schools/school districts will be recruiting for teaching\, counseling\, administrative\, and substitute teaching jobs for Spring. Anyone looking for current positions are encouraged to attend. We suggest that you research the school districts attending and bring copies of your resume. Screening interviews and “meet and greet” format will be used. Schools will typically set up an interview schedule during the first hour of the day\, then conduct interviews the rest of the day. So\, come prepared to meet the schools then interview later in the day.

DESCRIPTION:Optimizing Mentoring Workshops \nGraduate faculty are invited to this year’s Optimizing Mentoring Workshops — a chance to connect with colleagues and engage with one of the most rewarding parts of our work: quality mentoring of graduate students within changing landscapes. \nSessions are led by UNC graduate faculty trained through the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Research Experiences. Practical strategies and real-world examples tailored to our graduate programs will be offered in an interactive workshop format. \nAll three workshops are required for Graduate Faculty (GF) and Doctoral Research Endorsement (DRE) applications.
