The following information is for conference, camp, and training session participants only.
Thank you for your interest in UNC Summer Visitor Housing. We have had an increase in demand for summer student housing and therefore, we are not able to offer this service to the public. If you are a graduate student completing coursework on campus during the summer that does not conform to the standard summer sessions, please contact us at 970-351-2010 and we will be able to assist you in finding temporary housing.
All students attending New Student Orientation, as well as participants attending most conference, camp, and training sessions, are housed in facilities other than Visitor Housing. Please ask your event contact person for specific arrangements and instructions. UNC Summer Students should refer to the Housing & Residential Education Department for standard summer housing arrangements.
The Information Desks, located on the first floors of the residence halls, are staffed 24 hrs/day by a Desk Receptionist. Desk staff are trained to check in and check out conference participants, answer questions, provide resource information, resolve issues, and provide a variety of other assistance. Desk services include: mail and message handling, equipment checkout, room reservations, and maintenance reporting. You can also purchase stamps and obtain change at the Information Desk.
Wireless internet service is available across campus. If you are a guest to campus, you can connect to 'UNC-GUEST' and follow the directions. If you are a current UNC Student, you can connect to 'UNC-STUDENT' and follow directions using your Bears Email. If you need further assistance, you can ask the Front Desk in your residence hall for help.
