This distance learning certificate provides students with the ability to work with real data sets and expand their intuition through project based learning. 

Developed for the Working Adult

The Graduate Certificate of Applied Causal Evaluation of Policy and Innovation is a fully online 12-credit hour certificate

  • Complete the certificate in 9 months (from August to May each calendar year)
  • Each online course is delivered one at a time
  • 1-credit hour courses last three weeks; 2-credit hour courses last 6 weeks
  • Synchronous course sessions, where instructors and students "meet" online, are held on Thursday evenings from 4-6 p.m. MT
  • Optional instructor office hour meeting times are also available

You have opportunity to incorporate data-driven evidence for continuous improvement to optimize your certificate experience.    Assignments are practical and connect the course material with your particular needs and setting.  You are encouraged to consider an intervention in your local context in order to push for systematic change.
