Other Experience

My name is Jeff Brown, and I'm an Assistant Professor of Philosophy. I joined the University of Northern Colorado in the Fall of 2017.

My Ph.D. is from Washington University in St. Louis. I have a JD from Vanderbilt University School of Law. I did my undergraduate work at Westminster College in Fulton, MO, where I majored in philosophy and political science.

My work inspires my approach to my role as a DRC Faculty Ambassador.  My teaching and scholarship concerns social, political, and legal philosophy and the philosophy of disability. You will find this reflected in my academic scholarship, which you can find more about at my PhilPeople's profile.

If you're looking for someone to talk to about my work with the Disability Resource Center or discuss philosophical issues related to disability, reach out via email: Jeffrey.brown@unco.edu
