Disability Resource Center
Hello my name is Tyler Anderson and I started my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado back in 2016 and I have been with the DRC as a Graduate Assistant since 2017. Since beginning at UNC, I have found that often the most rewarding part is the connections I am able to make with students in our office. As a GA, my approach is to be a comfortable and safe resource for students with disabilities, in order to help determine appropriate university accommodations and navigate challenges associated with a university environment.
Prior to my time at UNC, I graduated from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa where I graduated with a degree in Psychology and played baseball. When I am not at the DRC, I am most often found in the hallways of McKee or at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora where I am lucky enough to train as a future psychologist. When not working I enjoy spending time outside in the mountains or on the golf course or hanging out at home with my wonderful fiancée.
