About UNC Dining Services

...Where "We Feed The Bears!"

We are a full-service dining operation for the entire campus community... including students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and guests of the university. Students (of course) are our primary focus, but we are continually striving to offer new and enticing menu items for all our valued customers.

Dietary Concerns

Dining Services has a Registered Dietitian on staff who can give guidance on eating disorders, food allergies, dietary restrictions, and nutritional updates for a healthy body. Some students place eating healthy, well-balanced meals "on the back burner" during the college years, and we're here to help keep you on the right nutritional track. Contact us at 970-351-2652 or diningservices@unco.edu to make an appointment with our Registered Dietitian.

Munchy Mart at the University Center

More Than Dining Rooms

Dining Services also offers quite a few Retail Dining options at the University Center where you can use your Dining Dollars. You don't have to go off campus to get your convenience items now that Munchy Mart is open. Einstein Bros® Bagels, Subway®, and Sushi With Gusto® provide an alternative to dining room fare, while Bears Bistro accepts both meal plans and Dining Dollars -- it's up to you! The newest location, Pie Café, is now open at Campus Commons. Stop by and see the new builiding and grab a coffee and some pie fries while you're there!

Not at the University Center but craving coffee? If you are near the Michener Library or Kepner Hall, you're in luck!! Coffee Corner at Michener is a student favorite for a study break and Coffee Corner at Kepner keeps students going during the lunch breaks.

These Retail Dining locations, along with our UNC Catering department, allow a variety of meal options for all students and visitors to UNC at affordable prices (visit the UNC Catering Web Site). We also manage the Athletics Concessions... GO BEARS!!

We Hire Students!

Dining Services also serves as one of the largest student employers on campus, hiring 400-500 students throughout the entire year to work in our various dining areas. The pay is competitive, and managers schedule work around your school schedules. Advancement can be quick for those who are energetic and dedicated workers. It is my hope that when considering a part-time job to help defray those college expenses, you consider Dining Services as a viable alternative (student job application).

Feel free to drop by our main office in Tobey-Kendel Hall to introduce yourself and learn more about what is always a favorite topic - FOOD!
