On Being a Bear

Norma joined the team as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations in 2019 but has been a UNC Bear for years. She earned her B.A. in 2012 as a Stryker Scholar and spent the last four years as an employer relations specialist in the Center for Career Readiness.

Now a part of the alumni relations team, Norma builds the relationships and programs that strengthen the UNC Bear Network in support of alumni and student success.
