Education & Training

I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016.  I am also trained in EMDR and use this approach to treat trauma.

Current Roles

I am a Staff Counselor and Triage manager at the center.  I provide direct clinical services including individual and group counseling.  In addition, I provide supervision to those seeking a Master’s degree.  I also provide triage at the front desk and provide case management to those entering the center.  Lastly, I help to oversee the initial consultation/emergency/walk-in system.

Therapeutic & Supervision Approaches

My theoretical orientation includes a blend of Person Centered, Interpersonal Process, and Feminist Theory.  I work to empower clients in their own lives and work to identify their hopes and desire for change individually and interpersonally.  In addition, I use DBT and EMDR when working with clients.
