In light of Campus closure and as a precautionary measure regarding COVID-19, Community Standards & Conflict Resolution Staff are working remotely in an effort to best support our campus community. We ask for your patience as some services may be limited and response time may increase. Staff are working diligently to respond to inquiries as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize health and safety. Updates will be published to our COVID-19 information page as the situation develops.

Advisors & Attorneys Resources

Advising a student through the conduct process is much different than defending a client in a court of law. In a court of law, you are likely used to advocating for and speaking on behalf of your client. In the conduct process, students are expected to speak for themselves at all times and may not have someone speak for them or on behalf of them at any time.

Please refer to the Student Code of Conduct (BEAR Code) for specific requirements of Advisors in the conduct process.
