Undergraduate Commencement Student Speaker
Alissa Danielle Delfosse is the daughter of Theresa Krische and Brian Delfosse, and was born and raised in Longmont, Colorado where she lives now with her partner, John Mollica; their two dogs, Marley and Bosco; and their frog, Mr. Frog. Alissa has six siblings: Rieley, Emilie, Elienor, Bailey, Benjamin, and Gemma, and grew up teaching them, and she fell in love with it.
All throughout college she dedicated her free time to her practicum, teaching in schools like University High School, Brentwood Middle School, and Altona Middle School; tutoring at local schools like Greeley West High School as part of the AVID Program; and eventually running a tutoring business as the Assistant Director. Alissa has attended the University of Northern Colorado since the Spring of 2016, where she has acquired her degree in Secondary English Education. She is passionate about learning, literature, family, and traveling, and is excited to spend her time after graduation seeing the world and teaching English.
