Courtney is the Graduate Assistant for the Center for Women's and Gender Equity, and is currently working towards obtaining her M.M. in Vocal Performance at UNC. She graduated with a B.M. from Simpson College in Indianola, IA studying Vocal Performance, with a minor in Philosophy with a concentration in Applied Ethics. Courtney is committed to learning about all forms of oppression so that she can better understand and help diverse communities of people and cherish their unique identities. As a graduate assistant at the Center for Women's and Gender Equity, she hopes to create a safe space for anyone who seeks both comfort on campus and a welcoming environment.
