Liz Osborn joined the School of Special Education in May and has been at the University of Northern Colorado for the past 19 years in several different capacities, as a student, graduate assistant, admin, academic advisor, and now as a faculty member. Ms. Osborn completed both her Bachelors and Masters degrees at UNC and has worked in higher education for the past 26 years. Research areas in her Social Sciences: Clinical Sociology Master’s program included “An Examination of Modern Motherhood” and “Keeping a Fragmented Family Intact”. During her time at UNC, she has been actively engaged as a member of the university community with her work with the Classified Staff Council, Professional and Administrative Staff Council, and pilot user for different software initiatives. Ms. Osborn also teaches part-time at the local community college in the areas of Sociology and Women’s Studies.
