Professional/Academic Experience

Rachael Koppel is a school psychology doctoral student from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and will complete her internship at ESU#13 for the 2021-2022 school year. She will provide behavioral, academic, and psychological services to 21 school districts throughout the Western Panhandle of Nebraska.  Over the years, she has worked with diverse and high-risk populations with a range of presenting concerns. Her research focuses on improving social-emotional and literacy outcomes by developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based interventions. Rachael also utilizes consultation to enhance teaching practices, behavior management, and classroom climate. She aims to provide essential supports and services that will promote healthy development in a variety of domains. Rachael enjoys listening to science-fiction/fantasy novels, cooking and eating delicious food, and spending time with friends and family. When the weather allows it, she swims or goes paddle boarding in her free time.
