Professional/Academic Experience

Born and raised in central Indiana, I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychological sciences from Purdue University in 2017 and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Indianapolis in 2019. I am currently enrolled in the clinical psychology doctoral program at UIndy. I will be completing my internship placement at the Colorado Center for Assessment and Counseling, where my focus will be primarily on conducting psychological assessments with adults. I also value building long-term working relationships with my clients through individual therapy, adopting an interpersonal process approach to treatment. My clinical training has provided me with opportunities to work with clients from many backgrounds, which has fostered my interest in working with underserved populations. My research has predominantly centered around women’s issues, particularly intimate partner violence, with my doctoral dissertation examining the association between alcohol consumption and rates of intimate partner homicide at the state level. In my free time, I enjoy reading, puzzling, listening to podcasts, and exploring my new Colorado home.
