In light of Campus closure and as a precautionary measure regarding COVID-19, the Campus Recreation Center has suspended operations to help minimize health and safety risks to the campus community.  Staff will work diligently to respond as quickly as possible to questions regarding memberships, programs and services. We ask for your patience as response time may increase. UNC Campus Recreation

Open to students, faculty and friends of UNC the Campus Recreation Center provides facilities, activities and services for every ability level. Join an intramural or club sport, take part in group fitness classes or just stop on by for a workout. The Recreation Center provides a supportive environment for everyone.

Intramural Sports Walking and Running Challenge

The UNC Running/Walking challenge is underway! We are still accepting registrations, if interested please contact one of the event co - directors at jordan.bishop@unco.edu or jay.mahoney@unco.edu

Due to the Coronavirus protocols, the number activities available to us have been limited. Walking and running is still a great way to get out of the house and get some exercise. The Intramural staff is offering the Walking and Running Challenge to help motive folks to still engage in physical activity, in a setting that respects social distancing.

There are multiple mileage milestone options to set your sites on:

  • 25 Mile Challenge
  • 50 Mile Challenge
  • 100 Mile Challenge
  • 150 Mile Challenge
  • Beat the Bear Challenge
  • Captain's Challenge
