Bears, Brews & Bites
Join us for the 8th Annual Bears, Brews & Bites in the Pepsi UNC Bears Fan Fest tailgate areas at the UNC Football home opener on Saturday, September 9th, 2023! Sample local breweries and food trucks and get ready for some UNC Bears football. Individual registration is $45 and includes unlimited tastings, a souvenir glass, a ticket to the UNC home football game. Tickets Purchased before 9/7/2023 at 5 pm will also include a food voucher! A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Proceeds from the event support the programmatic needs of UNC's Brewing Laboratory Science Program. If you are not able to attend the event, you can support the program by making a gift. If you have questions about the event, please contact Sean Johnson.

Program Information
The Brewing Laboratory Science Program prepares students for work in the quality control / quality assurance (QC/QA) sector of the beer brewing industry. The program includes an undergraduate certificate, a minor in Brewing Laboratory Science, and a lecture/laboratory program with hands-on intensive training in a 7bbl microbrewery on campus.
This program is complimentary with master brewer and fermentation science programs at other institutions.
