On Being a Bear

Grayson joined the advancement team in fall of 2022 to direct UNC's signature events and ceremonies. She brings ten years of experience in higher education event management, having previously overseen presidential and advancement events for her alma mater Lamar University.

As Director of University Events, Grayson manages the university's hallmark engagement and events programs including Commencement, Honored Alumni, State of the University, and annual fundraising events. She serves as a partner and consultant for programs interested in hosting events and celebrations, helping program staff implement UNC's standard of hospitality and brand throughout on and off campus event and guest experiences.
