The Women's Conference is an opportunity for all UNC students, faculty, and staff to further explore women's issues, feminism and women's rights, and intersectionality, while providing a space for personal and professional growth.

V-Day/Vagina Monologues

A global activist movement to end violence against women and girls.

Women's History Month

A month dedicated to celebrating women's accomplishmentsand contributions throughout history, held throughout the month of March.

Inspiring Women's Awards

Recognizes the extrodinary contributitons of outstanding women at UNC. Nominations are open in January and the awards are presented at the reception in April.

I Need Feminism Because Campaign

This campaign links pressing women's and gender issues, and other forms of social inequity, to feminism and feminist history. Women's ability to vote, access education and own property are a result of feminism, and remind us all that is still left to accomplish.


Take Back the Night

TBTN is an annual march and rally to unify and protest violence against people of all genders, ethnicities, and orientations; and to promote awareness of the attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate this type of violence.
