Interim Coordinator for Women’s Studies, Lorie is also an Assistant Professor of French in the School of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies. received her Ph. D. in French Literature with a minor in Women’s Studies in 2001 and her M.A. in French in 1994 from the University of Arizona. She graduated with honors with a B.A. in French from Wichita State University in 1991.
Besides serving as Interim Coordinator for Women’s Studies, she teaches French language, civilization, and literature courses and directs the UNC in Strasbourg summer study abroad program during the month of July.
