8-2 record for 2003-2004 season, 7-3 record for 2002-2003 season, and 9-2 in 2001-2002 season

Ranked 13th in the Nation for Women’s Collegiate Club Rugby

Traveled to Pennsylvania State University for Club Collegiate National Rugby Tournament. Played University of California and Stanford University

Runner up for Regional Championships in Lawrence Kansas. Played the University of New Mexico, the Air Force Academy, and the University of Oklahoma

Participated in the 1999 National Rugby Tournament. Placed 16th in the Nation

Outstanding Players:

Many wonderful players on the UNC Women’s Rugby team go without recognition for their skill, devotion, and sportsmanship

4 UNC players made the 2006 under 23 Women’s select team and played in Colorado Springs, CO. (Players included: Danielle Spickard, Jessica Matthews, Stephanie Fillmore, and Kathryn Pavao)
